RAW vs JPEG.... what format should I set my camera on when I shoot?
Seems like this is one of the continually hot topics among photographers. Personally, I shoot RAW 100% of the time, but this doesn't work for everyone. As a matter of fact, most folks in the sports and journalism world shoot JPEG.
So what gives? What's the difference and why should I shoot one format over another? Well, there are a variety of reasons why one would choose RAW over JPEG (or vice versa), and I am working on a more detailed post to explain the differences, so please stay tuned!
